Erica K Volpe enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, playing the viola and guitar, painting, reading, watching movies, and running. She began playing the viola in 4th grade and continued to pursue this passion competitively through College. She had the opportunity to perform in several highly distinguished environments: Junior Orchestra, Cadet Orchestra, Upper Arlington High School Orchestra & Chamber Group, Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra, and Westerville Symphony. She also performed in a variety of local and state competitions, and was selected to perform in the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra's first European tour in 1999. The Orchestra performed concerts in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
